Through Indigene, he supports Indigenous Nations and organizations with planning, leadership, and implementation work grounded in listening, collaboration, and long-term community well-being.

Sarah-Jane Wells is a settler of western European ancestry and is an experienced educator and project manager specializing in Indigenous education, governance, language revitalization, evaluation, and strategic planning.

Rachel Yahyahkeekoot

Rachel Yahyahkeekoot is a nēhiyaw/Métis two-spirit educator, facilitator, and wellness practitioner whose work is grounded in cultural connection, community care, and creating spaces where people feel heard and supported. With experience in Indigenous education, early childhood learning, and community engagement, Rachel brings a calm, relational approach that helps conversations move forward with honesty, respect, and heart.

Sophia Toye

Sophia Toye is a member of Stz’uminus First Nation and a future educator currently studying in the Native Indian Teacher Education Program at UBC. Her work is grounded in curiosity, community connection, and a strong commitment to supporting Indigenous learning, research, and engagement in ways that are thoughtful, respectful, and community-focused.
